guess what came for a visit....

a Coyote! yup the coyote that has been roaming around the area finally paid a visit, he tried to get into the den of my very LARGE Groundhog that lives under my landlady's house. I don't believe he got anywhere though. Dogs were going Bananas! My stupid neighbor directly across the street's poodles were outside going bazurk too. I just don't understand why this woman doesn't keep her dogs inside at night, I know she has an invisible fence and they roam free but the coyote is gonna eat them!

Yankee Swap - Success!

Today was the Yankee Swap lunch at work. It can be rather hysterical with the work crew and alcohol is always horded and heavily traded. Also wacky gifts pop up. This year the hotly traded items were the Baileys, a martini kit, and a bottle of wine. The bad ones very heavily traded were a Manny doll, a low rider car with santa and reigndeer in it that played the song low rider, and Led Zepplan shot glasses ;)

I ended up getting a nice pretty box, opened it up to find a gift certificate to a bowling alley I didn't know. I traded it with the only good thing that had yet been opened, a gift certificate to Itunes :) Which was very cool. I re-gifted the present I got this year from my mom for the Yankee swap and the person who got it Loved it! She collects those kind of things so the gift now has a happy home and I don't feel guilty. shhh don't tell my mom....
